Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! We had a busy weekend filled with family, egg hunts, and lots of candy! 

First, last weekend, we had to get ready by coloring some eggs. In a lapse of judgement, we added glitter to the dye...although pretty, I think we'll be vacuuming it up (along with the Christmas tree needles) for months to come. 

We knew we had a busy weekend ahead and fortunately the Easter Bunny understood and was kind enough to come Saturday morning (8am mass on Sunday morning in Dwight = Goldens barely out the door without baskets full of Easter joy to distract them)...

 After our little egg hunt at home, we visited Memaw and Papa's for some more Easter fun! Elsa colored more eggs with Memaw and her cousins Isaac and Nolan, while Miles hung out with Papa outside (as far away from the dogs as possible). Afterwards, the kids had a big egg hunt and had fun digging into their baskets!

 We celebrated on Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's in Dwight. After mass, we opened baskets, found more eggs, and had a quite a feast! We came home Sunday evening, hearts full, bellies full, and ready for a good night's sleep!
